Juventus has not been bustling lately, and has only won against Benevento in the last three away appearances.
The guests of Turin must miss important Giorgio Chiellini in the central defense, which weakens them, and it may be possible for Inter’s offensive to exploit.
Defensively, Juve has had problems lately, having closed goals in seven of the last nine league teams and has not created much in the recent two games against Crotone and Naples.
Inter played 0-0 in Torino in November where the defensive team was very strong, Juve would probably bet more than home team, and Inter may be able to take advantage of the changes.
My immediate assessment is that Juve seemed tired and without ideas lately against Naples. The long season may start and feel at several of the players.
Trainer Luciano Spalletti can stand in the strongest position, defensively, one has been incredibly stable this season, and it can cause problems to the guests.
The Old Lady has only lost one of the last ten Derby D’Italia against Inter, and usually has a good run on the Milanese.
Juventus is only a point in front of Naples in the table and has a very finishing touch, it is now showing the routine and being the best man in Italy.
It has been very good at away team this season, with only a defeat against Sampdoria back in November.
The Juve crew has previously been in pressure situations where one has won this season, including against home-strong crews like Naples, Tottenham and Real Madrid.
Inter has not yet collected three points at home against the big in this season, and is pressure from fans to join Top 4.
The guests will probably take the initiative in this show, and especially in the midfield Juve seems to be a tooth better than Inter with Pjanic, Khedira and French Matuidi.
Inter: Do not miss Gagliardini (solid) in the central midfield.
Juventus: Giorgio Chiellini (fast) in the central defense was injured against Naples last and is out for the show, but otherwise there is no important absence as it is only De Sciglio (reserve) on the left back that is out.
